Architects in Colchester

37 Architects was founded by Matthew Girling and Agnieszka Kornacka, architects with a shared interest in thoughtful, sustainable and well-crafted contemporary architecture. Together, they bring over 20 years of combined experience working on a wide range of projects across residential, cultural and public sectors.

Their experience includes work at respected, award-winning practices such as Hopkins Architects, Barbara Weiss Architects and Project Orange, where they contributed to projects of varying scale and complexity, from private homes to large civic buildings.

Matthew is a graduate of the University of Kent, where he was awarded the RIBA Kent Prize for design and nominated for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal. He completed his Part III through the RIBA Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice and is a chartered architect registered with the Architects Registration Board.

Agnieszka is a graduate of Wrocław University of Science and Technology and is also a chartered architect registered with the Architects Registration Board. She has spent the last nine years at Hopkins Architects, working on some of the practice’s most significant and high-profile projects.
